Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred OR 3 years of technical experience in the elevator industry or related field.
• Experience in installation and service of elevators/escalators preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience with a unionized workforce is preferred.
• Must have ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Manage field technicians in day-to-day operations of elevator modernizations.
• Participate in field surveys for prospective modernization projects.
• Order necessary elevator parts and determine scope of work.
• Ensure modernization projects meet quality and safety standards.
• Support local sales team in estimating modernization bids.
