Job summary

Southeast Elevator invites applications for an Installation Mechanic Apprentice. You will train alongside experienced mechanics in installing and servicing residential elevators and wheelchair lifts, progressing to lead mechanic roles with increased responsibility and compensation during and after the program.

During training, you will gain hands-on field experience, work in a two-person team, and interact with customers and contractors while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn installation and servicing of residential elevators and wheelchair lifts.
• Ability to work with a two-person installation team and follow instruction.
• Comfort with safety codes and industry standards.
• Prior elevator or construction experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Learn installation and servicing of residential elevators and wheelchair lifts.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior teammates.
• Work with customers and general contractors professionally.
• Maintain safety, accuracy, and attention to detail on job sites.
