Southeast Elevator is hiring an Installation Mechanic Apprentice in Charleston, SC. This entry-level role offers mentoring, hands-on training, and a clear path to advancement within 12–18 months as a lead mechanic with increased responsibility and pay.
During the program you’ll learn to install and service residential elevators and wheelchair lifts, work in small teams, and develop safety and regulatory knowledge that underpins a skilled trade with growing demand.
Southeast Elevator has immediate openings for an Installation Mechanic Apprentice. The Apprentice position provides great mentoring, training, and hands‑on experience with installing and servicing home elevators. Successful Apprentices can be promoted within 12-18 months to a lead mechanic with a commensurate increase in responsibility and compensation during the program as well as after. This is the perfect opportunity to start your career in the Elevator trade.
During training, you will work alongside experienced mechanics to learn the installation and servicing of residential elevators and wheelchair lifts. As your skills grow, you’ll take on more responsibility and independence in the field.
