Ideal candidates read drawings well, perform MIG/TIG welding, and maintain high quality while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience welding in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
Experience operating welding and fabrication equipment.
Ability to use measuring instruments and perform basic shop math.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work physically throughout shift.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Read blueprints, work orders, and specifications.
Set up and operate welding equipment to fabricate and assemble components.
Perform MIG, TIG and other welding processes as required.
Prepare materials for welding through cutting, grinding, fitting, and alignment.
Weld components in various positions and inspect weld quality.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Identify and correct welding defects and assist with improvements.
