IDEC Elevator Products is seeking a skilled Welder to join our manufacturing team, building elevator components with precision in a busy shop environment. You will contribute to high-quality products and rely on your attention to detail and teamwork.

The Welder will operate TIG, MIG, and spot welding equipment, set up machines to project specifications, and inspect welds for strength and durability while maintaining safety standards. Career growth awaits in a quality-driven facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in steel fabrication and welding.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate single and multi-head spot welding equipment.
• Operate Tig welder.
• Operate Mig welder.
• Set up welding machines according to specifications and project requirements.
• Inspect and test welds for strength, durability, and precision.
• Clean and maintain welding tips and equipment as needed.
• Perform manual handling of materials using small hand tools.
• Complete necessary paperwork and data entry accurately.
