Job summary

Hollister-Whitney, a leading elevator components manufacturer, seeks a skilled Welder to join our Quincy manufacturing team. You will fabricate, assemble, and weld elevator components per drawings, quality standards, and safety requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating welding equipment (MIG/TIG).
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, orders, and engineering drawings.
• Set up and operate welding equipment to fabricate and assemble components.
• Perform MIG and TIG welding as required.
• Prepare materials for welding (cutting, grinding, fitting, alignment).
• Weld components in various positions and inspect welds for quality.

This position is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding a variety of elevator components and related products in accordance with engineering drawings, quality standards, and safety requirements.The ideal candidate will possess strong welding skills, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
