Orange Elevator Company Inc is seeking an entry-level Apprentice to support senior mechanics in installing and maintaining elevator systems in residential and commercial settings in West Palm Beach, FL. You will receive hands-on training and mentorship to build a long-term career in a growing industry.

This role requires basic hand tools, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and a valid Enhanced Driver's License. Travel up to 50 miles daily is expected, with a Monday–Friday schedule and weekly pay with

Job Overview

• Company: Orange Elevator Company Inc
• Salary/Pay Rate: $20 to $25+ per hour plus Performance Bonus
• Location: West Palm Beach, FL (Travel up to 50 miles daily)
• Job/Employment Type: Full-Time
• Schedule: Monday - Friday
• Project Scope: Elevators (Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Government or Federal)

The Opportunity

You will launch your career in a high-demand trade by supporting senior mechanics in the maintenance and installation of complex elevator systems. You will receive hands‑on training and mentorship while ensuring the safety of vertical transportation for our diverse client base.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Assist lead mechanics with the installation and repair of elevator components in residential and commercial settings.
• Prepare job sites by organizing specialized equipment and ensuring all necessary hand and power tools are ready for use.
• Execute basic mechanical tasks using screwdrivers, drills, saws, and impact guns under direct supervision.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment to protect team members and clients during active service calls.
• Support the loading and unloading of heavy equipment and materials required for daily field operations.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Foundational knowledge of basic hand tools including Phillips and flathead screwdrivers.
• Familiarity with the safe operation of power tools such as drills, saws, and impact guns.
• Proven track record of punctuality and a commitment to maintaining a professional appearance.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs independently throughout the day.
• Physical ability to perform labor‑intensive tasks in various onsite environments.
• Valid Enhanced Driver's License and a reliable means of transportation.
• Prior elevator industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous experience or educational background in Electrical or HVAC trades.
• Strong desire to learn mechanical schematics and vertical transportation technology.
• Bilingual in Spanish
