Job summary

Terrain Café, part of the URBN family, seeks a dedicated Server to join our front-of-house team. You will greet guests, guide them through seasonal menus, and provide thoughtful, personalized service in a nature-inspired setting.

Ideal candidates bring warmth, curiosity, and a commitment to quality hospitality, with experience in high-volume service and familiarity with Toast POS. Flexibility for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an elevated, high-volume environment preferred.
• Friendly, guest-focused communicator with a poised, professional presence.
• Ability to multitask while staying calm and organized under pressure.
• Passionate about hospitality, food, and sustainability.
• Familiarity with POS systems (Toast).

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized, elevated service in a welcoming, nature-inspired setting.
• Guide guests through seasonal menus and beverage offerings.
• Follow steps of service with consistency.
• Anticipate guest needs and deliver prompt, thoughtful attention.
• Create a calm, intentional atmosphere that encourages return visits.
• Greet and engage guests with enthusiasm, poise, and genuine hospitality.
• Take and input orders using the Toast POS system.
• Deliver food and beverages in a timely and polished manner.
• Offer refined tableside wine service and engaging beverage presentations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization across service areas.
• Process payments accurately and follow café standards.
• Conduct menu tours with in-depth knowledge of dishes, sourcing, and local purveyors.
• Explain specials and seasonal updates; recommend pairings.
