Job summary

Terrain Café, a garden-to-table restaurant within the URBN family, seeks a dedicated Server to join our front-of-house team. From greeting guests to recommending pairings, you will help create memorable dining experiences.

You’ll guide guests through seasonal menus, input orders in Toast, and deliver food and beverages with warmth, care, and precision, while maintaining a clean, welcoming dining room.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an elevated, high-volume environment preferred.
• Friendly, guest-focused communicator with a poised, professional presence.
• Ability to multitask while staying calm and organized under pressure.
• Passionate about hospitality, food, and sustainability.
• Familiarity with POS systems (Toast).
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and select holidays.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs; stand and move for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized, elevated service in a welcoming, nature-inspired setting.
• Guide guests through seasonal menus and beverage offerings.
• Follow steps of service with consistency.
• Anticipate guest needs and deliver prompt, thoughtful attention throughout service.
• Create a calm, intentional atmosphere that encourages return visits.
• Greet and engage guests with enthusiasm, poise, and genuine hospitality.
• Take and accurately input orders using the Toast POS system.
• Deliver food and beverages in a timely and polished manner.
• Offer refined tableside wine service and engaging beverage presentations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization across all service areas.
• Process payments accurately and follow café standards.
• Educate guests on our beverage menu, including wines, craft beers, non-alcoholic drinks, and specialty coffees.
• Complete seasonal menu testing, as directed
• Support teammates and jump in where needed during service.
