Job summary

Sun Tan City is seeking an energetic Assistant Salon Director to oversee a busy tanning salon, drive sales performance, and ensure a high-energy, client-focused environment. You will supervise Tanning Consultants, model exceptional service, and lead by example in all store operations.

You’ll coach staff, monitor daily activities, and help manage expenses while maintaining a clean, welcoming space. This role requires leadership, reliability, and strong customer service, with opportunities for

Qualifications

• College education preferred, but not required.
• Management and/or Sales experience preferred, but not required.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Team building and delegation skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily salon operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example in client-centric service and sales targets.
• Maintain a clean, professional salon environment.
• Establish clear goals and objectives for Team Members.
• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve performance.
• Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist with Salon Director functions.
• Assist the Salon Director in controlling top line revenue and expenses.
• Maintain staffing levels to ensure maximum productivity and excellent service while controlling labor costs.
• Work nights and weekends as required to provide management coverage.
• Must have reliable transportation to bank as needed.
• Typically five days per week, about a 40–45 hour schedule depending on status.
