Job summary

Sun Tan City is seeking a motivated Assistant Salon Director to maintain a high-energy, positive salon environment and drive performance. You will supervise Tanning Consultants, focus on client experience, and ensure productivity targets are met through leadership by example.

The role emphasizes coaching, staff development, and operational excellence with opportunities for advancement within a family-owned salon network that values reliability and leadership.

Qualifications

• College education preferred, but not required.
• Management and/or Sales experience preferred, but not required.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment and coach others.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily operations of the salon in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example to provide a client-centric experience and meet personal sales goals.
• Maintain a clean, professional salon environment.
• Set clear goals for team members and provide coaching and feedback.
• Generate sales reports, manage inventory, and assist with director functions.
• Support Salon Director in revenue and expense control and staffing.
