Job summary

Klöckner & Co SE is seeking an Overhead Crane Operator/Loader for 2nd shift in a full-time, on-site role. You will operate overhead cranes and forklifts, handle shipping/receiving, and ensure proper paperwork for inbound and outbound stock.

The position requires 2+ years of crane experience, valid crane certification, a high school diploma or GED, and knowledge of DOT load regulations. Strong safety focus and dependability are essential, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating overhead cranes in an industrial or distribution environment.
• Valid certification to operate overhead cranes is required.
• High School diploma or GED; or 1-3 months of related experience and/or training.
• Understanding of DOT regulations regarding load weight.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and operational procedures.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn new skills and train others.
• Ability to pass a physical examination for vision, hearing, and mobility.

Responsibilities

• Crane and Forklift Operation: Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Product Knowledge: Read and interpret measuring devices and know product specs.
• Shipping and Receiving: Unload inbound stock and load outbound shipments with paperwork.
• Loading Procedures: Safely load trucks with proper chaining and tarping.
• Additional Duties: Support warehouse operations as needed.
