Kloeckner is seeking a Crane Operator/Loader to handle materials for shipping and receiving, reporting to the Operations Manager. The role requires operating overhead cranes and forklifts, loading and unloading shipments, and ensuring paperwork accuracy.

Qualified candidates have at least 2 years of crane experience, a valid crane certification, and a high school diploma or GED. DOT load-weight knowledge, safety discipline, and reliability are essential for success in this on-site position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating overhead cranes in an industrial or distribution setting.
• Certification to operate overhead cranes is required.
• High School diploma or GED, or 1–3 months of related experience or training; or equivalent.
• Understanding of DOT regulations regarding load weight.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and operational procedures.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn new skills and train others.
• Must be able to pass a physical examination for vision, hearing and mobility.
• Demonstrated reliable work history.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts safely.
• Understand products, read measuring devices, and maintain product knowledge.
• Unload inbound shipments and load outbound shipments with proper paperwork.
• Load trucks safely with correct chaining and tarping.
• Perform other duties to support warehouse operations.
