Job summary

Kloeckner Metals Corporation in Huger, SC is seeking a Crane Operator/Loader to support shipping, receiving and inventory tasks. You will safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts, understand product specifications, and ensure accurate inbound/outbound paperwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating overhead cranes in an industrial or distribution environment.
• Valid certification to operate overhead cranes is required.
• High School diploma or GED; or 1-3 months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Understanding of DOT regulations regarding load weight.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and operational procedures.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn new skills and train others.
• Ability to pass a physical examination for vision, hearing, and mobility.
• Demonstrated reliable work history.
• Must be detail-oriented with a strong focus on precision and quality in all tasks.

The Crane Operator/Loader is responsible for handling materials as related to the shipping and receiving of inventory and customer orders. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager.
