Responsibilities

• Presents subject matter to students under the direction of teachers using learning tools, discussion, and technology.
• Provides academic assistance to students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts and develop study skills.
• Adapts tutoring to fit the capabilities of the student, according to their IEP.
• Maintains professional interactions with students, parents and staff; works with teachers to provide student services.
• Reviews and understands the IEP process and accommodations; adjusts tutoring plans accordingly.
