Job summary

Winchendon Public Schools in Winchendon, Massachusetts is seeking an elementary Title I Tutor to provide targeted reading interventions for students who need extra support and to help them reach grade-level proficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field.

  • Ability to monitor student progress and report results.

  • Make data-driven instructional decisions to improve student outcomes.

  • Complete and dispense information regarding student progress at least as often as students in the general education setting.
  • Provide individual, small group, co-teaching resource support and specialized instruction based on student's needs

Winchendon Public Schools is seeking a dedicated Elementary Title I Tutor to provide targeted academic intervention for students who need additional support in reading. Ideal candidates are organized, flexible, and effective communicators who are committed to helping all students reach grade-level proficiency. This is a temporary, per diem position funded through Title I.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field
RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (not limited to):
