Job summary

KIPP Academy Boston Elementary School is seeking a Teaching Fellow to join our kindergarten through fourth‑grade classrooms in Boston. Fellows will co‑teach with Lead Teachers, participate in ongoing professional development, and progressively assume solo teaching responsibilities while building strong relationships with students and families.

Our program supports fellows through coaching and school‑based development focused on academics, character, and classroom culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Pass Criminal Background Check.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and oral and written communication skills.
• Computer literacy and baseline familiarity with Google Suite.
• Desire to become proficient in the craft of teaching through practice, coaching, and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers with co‑teaching and solo instruction, developing rigorous lessons.
• Build strong relationships with students and families; participate in school events.
• Attend professional development and coaching sessions; meet with coach regularly.
• Maintain accurate grades/records and communicate student progress to families.
