Job summary

KIPP MA Teaching Fellows join elementary classrooms in Lynn, MA to support rigorous instruction under a Lead Teacher. Fellows co-teach, learn through coaching, and have opportunities to pursue a MA Teacher’s License with support from the BU program.

The role emphasizes relationship-building with students and families, adherence to school expectations, and ongoing professional growth within a structured development plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong organizational skills and clear oral/written communication.
• Computer literacy with Google Suite.
• Criminal Background Check required.
• Prior experience with children encouraged, but not required.
• Desire for ongoing professional learning and growth.

Responsibilities

• Co-teach small group and whole-class lessons with a Lead Teacher.
• Participate in professional development and coaching sessions.
• Develop lesson plans using provided curricula and resources.
• Build strong relationships with families and communicate student progress.
• Collaborate with grade-level teams to implement school-wide systems.
