Job summary

ProCare Therapy is hiring an Elementary Special Education Teacher to work onsite near Baltic, CT. This full-time contract runs Monday through Friday, 8:15am to 3:15pm, serving a small classroom of 10 students in grades 3 through 5.

Qualifications

• Valid Elementary Special Education certification is required.
• Experience with elementary-aged children, ideally in SPED settings.
• Strong classroom management and individualized instruction skills.
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs and collaborate with families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction and differentiated support to students in your classroom.
• Develop, monitor, and evaluate Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.
• Track student progress and maintain documentation, including IEP meetings.
