Qualifications

• Experience working with students in Special Education program preferred.
• Associate degree (or higher) or 48 credits with alternatives listed.
• Parapro or WorkKeys assessments accepted in MA.

Responsibilities

• Support and assist students for physical, academic, and behavioral needs.
• Implement Positive Behavior Support Plans.
• Manage aggressive behaviors and apply safety skills.
• Toileting/Diapering Students as needed.
• Provide specialized learning techniques for individualized support.
• Monitor progress and document academic/behavior data.
• Use verbal/visual supports; model tasks and behaviors.
• Accompany student throughout the day for all activities.
• Support classroom teacher with duties; communicate with staff.
