Qualifications

• Support and assist students for physical, academic, and behavioral needs.
• Implement Positive Behavior Support Plans.
• Monitor student progress and document academic and behavioral data.
• Communicate with teachers, families, and service providers about student needs.
• Assist with daily classroom duties and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support and carry out instruction designed by general and special educators to meet the individual needs of students with or without disabilities.
• Work with students on IEP goals, monitor progress, and maintain regular communication with teachers and service providers.
• Collaborate and communicate between classroom teachers and special education liaisons regarding student needs.
• Participate in district-provided job-related training and perform other duties as assigned.
