Job summary

Alpine School District in Utah seeks an Elementary SPED Resource Teacher to join Trailside Elementary. This full-time position begins January 4, 2027, with a 1.0 FTE allocation.

Under the supervision of the principal, you will implement IEP goals, provide evidence-based instruction for students with mild to moderate disabilities, document progress, and collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to support student success.

Qualifications

• SPED license is required
• Mild/Moderate Disabilities (M/M) endorsement is required

Responsibilities

• Organizes and facilitates developmentally appropriate learning opportunities to improve student academic success.
• Adapts classroom work for individualized learning within curriculum guidelines.
• Assesses student progress toward objectives and communicates findings to parents and administration.
• Writes and implements IEP goals and behavior intervention plans to ensure progress.
• Collaborates with general education teachers and related service providers to ensure progress on IEP goals.
