Job summary

Qualifications

• Design accommodations and modifications for general education students.
• Develop Present Levels of Academic Achievement and Functional Performance, IEP goals/objectives, FBA, and behavior plans.
• Maintain knowledge of state/federal special education law.
• Experience with diverse disabilities (ASD, SLD, EI, CI, VI, HI, OHI, SLI).
• Create Present Levels of Achievement/Performance, measurable goals, and behavior plans.
• Assess student progress and tailor instructional strategies.

Responsibilities

• Participate in MET and IEPT meetings; prepare reports and multidisciplinary plans with parents.
• Coordinate and implement behavior intervention plans per policy and rules.
• Maintain cooperative relationships with parents, staff, and district personnel.
• Maintain timely written and oral communication with families and staff.
• Prepare and implement daily lesson plans aligned with each student’s IEP.
• Attend staff meetings, in-service activities, and school improvement planning.
