Job summary

Clarksville Independent School District seeks a SPED Teacher (LIDS - Elementary) to provide specialized support to students with disabilities in the regular classroom, develop and implement IEPs, and collaborate with families and professionals to meet each learner’s needs.

This full-time position requires a bachelor's or master's in special education and state certification with endorsement in low-incidence disabilities; prior experience with IEPs is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
• State certification as a special education teacher with endorsement in low-incidence disabilities.
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized educational support to students with disabilities in the regular classroom.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Deliver targeted instruction and manage behavior to foster an inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with parents, staff, and other professionals to meet students' needs.
