ConnectedHealth is seeking a Special Education Teacher for a 36-week contract in Easton, Maryland. The role focuses on elementary students with disabilities, including OHI, learning disabilities, autism, and language impairment, with IEP development and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Candidates must have a Special Education teacher certification and at least 1 year of experience, including serving a 10-15 student caseload, and a background in general education settings; background

• Certified Special Education Teacher.
• Minimum 1 year experience handling caseloads involving OHI, learning disabilities, autism, and language impairment.
• Ability to work in elementary settings and serve a caseload of 10-15 students.
• Background in providing services inside general education settings.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized educational services to elementary students with disabilities including OHI, learning disabilities, autism, and language impairment.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Assess students' progress and adjust instruction methods to meet their needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and record-keeping for compliance and reporting.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and staff to create inclusive learning environments.
