Qualifications
- Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field.
- Valid Maryland Special Education Teaching Certification is required.
- Experience supporting elementary students with autism, learning disabilities, OHI, or language impairments preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction and individualized support to elementary students with diverse learning and developmental needs.
- Deliver services primarily within the general education setting while collaborating with classroom teachers.
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals, accommodations, and instructional strategies.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to promote student growth and inclusion.
