Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Maryland Special Education Teaching Certification.
• Experience supporting elementary students with autism, learning disabilities, OHI, and/or language impairments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction and individualized support to elementary students with diverse learning and developmental needs, including autism, learning disabilities, OHI, and language impairments.
• Deliver services primarily within the general education setting while collaborating with classroom teachers to promote student access, engagement, and academic progress.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals, accommodations, and instructional strategies based on individual student needs.
• Collaborate with school staff and families to promote student growth, inclusion, and successful educational outcomes.
