Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Special Education teacher - Moderate Disabilities with the DESE
• SEI Endorsement Required
• Must hold a bachelor's degree or higher.

Responsibilities

• Provides differentiated curriculum instruction to students
• Participates in curriculum planning and professional development activities
• Prepares records and reports as required
• Provides for the care and protection of school property
• Keeps records and all books, supplies, and equipment in their classroom
• Accepts instructional and non-instructional assignments as provided for in the collective bargaining agreement
• Participates in faculty meetings and workshops
• Provides, when necessary, instructional help outsidethe regular student day within bounds established by the collective bargaining agreement
• Adheres to School Committee policy
