Job summary

Littleton Elementary School District Collier Business Academy - Avondale, Arizona is seeking a Certified Teacher for two positions in our Special Education program. The role focuses on supporting students with behavioral needs within an engaging classroom environment.

You will plan instruction, assess progress, and collaborate with staff to maintain a positive learning atmosphere. Beginning July 1, 2026, the position is full-time and requires AZ teaching certification.

Qualifications

• Appropriate certification and highly qualified requirements.
• Preschool Requirements: Documentation of a negative Mantoux skin test or other tuberculosis-screening test recommended by the US Centers for Disease Control administered within 12 months before the starting date of employment.
• A Food Handler’s Card authorized through the Arizona Department of Health prior to the starting date of employment.

Responsibilities

• Plans instruction and submits weekly lesson plans reflecting goals and objectives.
• Provides instruction at student’s skill level and follows lesson plans.
