Job summary

ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking a Special Education Teacher for elementary students in our learning center and classrooms. The role focuses on designing personalized instruction, integrating educational software, and delivering IEP-driven goals within a dynamic, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field is required.
• IL credentialing (PEL) in progress or current.
• IL SSE or LBS1 credential in progress or current.
• Experience with curriculum development and differentiation in alt education or behavioral health.

Responsibilities

• Lead instructional process for elementary students with IEPs.
• Deliver targeted instruction using varied resources and software.
• Develop and implement IEPs, goals, and interventions.
• Prepare detailed daily lesson plans aligned with standards.
• Collaborate with staff to support student growth and PBIS initiatives.
