ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education seeks a Special Education Teacher for an Elementary School learning center. You will lead instructional planning, deliver differentiated instruction, and design IEP-based interventions to support students with diverse needs.

Responsibilities include PBIS implementation, collaboration with families and staff, ongoing progress documentation, and adaptive lesson planning to align with state standards and individualized student objectives.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• Active IL Professional Educator License (PEL) or in process.
• LBS1 certification or in process.
• Experience with IEPs, curriculum development, differentiation and instruction.

Responsabilidades

• Create an inclusive, collaborative environment with students, parents, colleagues and administrators.
• Establish a classroom climate based on PBIS, fairness and clear expectations.
• Deliver differentiated instruction in co-teaching to meet IEP goals.
• Develop, update and implement IEPs, goals and interventions.
• Prepare detailed daily lesson plans aligned to standards.
