Job summary

Cross Country Education is seeking passionate Special Education Teachers to support students with diverse learning needs for the 2026–2027 school year in Buckeye and Phoenix, AZ.

You will provide small-group instruction, manage service delivery and progress monitoring, collaborate with teams, and maintain documentation and records in compliance with requirements. This full-time role offers a competitive hourly pay and a supportive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field
• Active Arizona Special Education Certification for grades 6–12
• Active Arizona Content Area or Generalist Certification for grades 6–12
• Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Experience or demonstrated ability to teach middle/high school core subjects and provide small-group instruction

Responsibilities

• Provide small-group/resource instruction to students in grades 6–12 across core academic subjects.
• Manage assigned special education cases, including service delivery, progress monitoring, and required documentation.
• Collaborate with the Special Education team and general education staff to support student needs and educational goals.
• Maintain accurate records of services and student progress in accordance with applicable requirements.
