Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Massachusetts teaching license or DESE licensure.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Special Education Teacher.

• Ability to create IEPs for students.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct educational assessments, write reports and present findings at Team meetings.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for assigned students.
• Prepare quarterly progress reports and collaborate with service providers.
• Coordinate with parents and district liaisons as appropriate.
• Plan instruction aligned with State Frameworks and IEPs.
• Create differentiated learning environments tailored to each student’s needs.
