Arlington Heights School District 25 has an opening for a full-time Spanish/English Transitional Bilingual Teacher for the 2025-26 school year at Windsor Elementary School. The teacher will provide instruction to help potentially English proficient students develop cognitive, academic, and language skills to function at grade level in a monolingual English class. Responsibilities include assessing students' academic and language proficiency levels, cultural and linguistic backgrounds, and making placement recommendations within the Transitional Bilingual Program. The teacher will also deliver bilingual and ESL instruction.
Hours: 8:15 am - 3:45 pm
This position is part of the Arlington Teachers' Association (ATA) agreement. Salary depends on experience and education, ranging from $51,984 (BA, no experience) to $65,928 (MA + 32 graduate hours and 7 years of experience).
