Job summary

Soliant Health seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join an elementary school in Pittsboro, North Carolina. The role involves evaluating students, developing IEPs, and delivering articulation, language, and social communication therapy.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, NC state license or eligibility, and CCC-SLP is preferred. School-based experience and knowledge of IDEA/IEP processes are highly valued. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required for the role.
• Current North Carolina state license in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility.
• CCC-SLP preferred (Clinical Fellows welcome).
• School setting experience highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IDEA regulations and IEP processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy in articulation, language, fluency, voice, and pragmatic/social communication.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, parents, and administrators.
• Participate in IEP, RTI and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Maintain documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations (IDEA)
• Supervise SLP Assistants or CFs if applicable.
