Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school team in Lillington, North Carolina. You will provide speech, language and communication support to students from Pre-K through 12th grade in a collaborative, school-based setting.

Responsibilities include evaluations, IEP development and implementation, direct therapy in multiple areas, and collaboration with teachers, parents and administrators.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current North Carolina state license in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility.
  • CCC-SLP certification from ASHA preferred (CFYs welcome to apply).
  • Experience working in a school setting is highly preferred.

Job description

Soliant is seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a school-based setting in Lillington, North Carolina. In this rewarding role, you’ll provide essential speech, language, and communication support to students from Pre-K through 12th grade, helping them succeed academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and treatment goals
  • Provide direct therapy services (individual and group sessions) in areas including articulation, language, fluency, voice, and pragmatic/social communication
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, parents, and administrators to support student progress
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEP meetings, and RTI processes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with state and federal regulations (IDEA)
  • Supervise SLP Assistants (SLPAs) or Clinical Fellows (CFs) if applicable
Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program
  • Current North Carolina state license in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred (Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply!)
  • Experience working in a school setting is highly preferred
