Job summary

Soliant is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for an elementary school contract near Carlsbad, CA. This full-time opportunity offers a school-based setting and a chance to make a meaningful impact on students’ communication skills.

Responsibilities include assessments, developing therapy plans, direct services, IEP participation, and collaboration with teachers and families. California licensure (or eligibility) and CCC-SLP preferred; CCC-SLP optional.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Current California SLP license or eligible for licensure.
• ASHA CCC-SLP (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Experience with elementary school students valued.
• Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff.
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of students with communication disorders within an elementary school environment.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address speech, language, and communication goals.
• Deliver direct therapy services in both individual and group settings.
• Consult with teachers and families, offering strategies for classroom integration and home support.
• Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and regular team collaboration.
• Maintain clear and timely records in compliance with district and state requirements.
