Job summary

ProCare Therapy seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) for the 2026-2027 school year in California. The contract position serves elementary students with mild to moderate needs across one to two sites, performing direct and consultative therapy and collaborating with staff and families.

Responsibilities include screenings, evaluations, IEP development and meetings, with documentation and progress tracking.

Qualifications

• Active CCC-SLP is required.
• Valid California SLP licensure.
• Experience or strong interest in school-based speech-language services.
• Solid understanding of evidence-based interventions for elementary-aged students.
• Proficiency in evaluating and developing individualized treatment plans for mild to moderate caseloads.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with school staff, parents, and students.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to elementary students.
• Conduct screenings, comprehensive evaluations, and compile relevant documentation.
• Develop, implement, and adjust IEPs based on student progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to foster student growth.
• Maintain accurate, timely records and reports.
• Rotate between one to two sites as required to efficiently manage caseload.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional expertise.
