Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking an Elementary School Social Worker to support students in a Michigan school. This on-site, full-time contract runs from late August through early June, offering a stable school-year schedule and meaningful impact.

You will collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to promote social, emotional, and behavioral success, conduct assessments, and help develop individualized plans while maintaining accurate records and participating in IEP meetings.

Qualifications

• Certification as a School Social Worker (SSW) with Michigan DOE approval.
• Experience with elementary-aged students in education or clinical settings preferred.
• Strong communication and crisis-intervention abilities.
• Ability to manage a caseload efficiently while maintaining high care standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct social work services and interventions to students in need.
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized support plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors and families to advocate for student well-being.
• Support positive behavior, attendance and academics through targeted interventions.
• Maintain confidential records per school and state guidelines.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams.
