Job summary

Soliant is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join an elementary school in the Lillington, NC area. This full-time, contract position begins as soon as possible and continues through May 2027, offering the chance to develop valuable experience in a collaborative educational environment.

The successful candidate will provide direct services to elementary students, conduct comprehensive assessments, develop IEPs, and collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Active North Carolina SLP license required.
• CCC-SLP preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) also considered.
• Previous school-based experience strongly recommended.
• Strong knowledge of IEP process, assessment, and interventions with school-aged children.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech/language therapy services to elementary-aged students in individual and small-group settings.
• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and school administration.
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and data tracking.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multi-disciplinary team conferences.
• Consult with staff and parents regarding strategies for communication success.
• Remain onsite throughout contract (no virtual assignments)
