Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support elementary students on a fall contract near Clifton Park, NY. The role offers a 35-hour workweek and competitive compensation.

The ideal candidate holds a NY SLP license and ASHA CCC-SLP (or CFY) status, with school experience preferred. You will collaborate with teachers, administrators and families to implement IEPs and monitor progress.

Qualifications

• New York Speech-Language Pathologist license valid for state requirements.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification or CFY status is required or preferred.
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators and families.
• Passion for supporting growth and success of elementary children.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language and communication disorders in elementary students.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) per state and federal guidelines.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy and monitor student progress.
• Consult with educational staff and parents on student needs and progress.
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with policies.
