Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a full-time School Psychologist to support elementary students in a Northampton-area elementary school. The contract runs ASAP through the end of the school year, with on-site responsibilities and hybrid flexibility to meet program needs.

The role focuses on psychoeducational assessments, IEP participation, data-driven interventions, counseling, and collaboration with families and staff to promote student wellbeing and achievement.

Qualifications

• Masters or Specialist in School Psychology from an accredited program.
• Active School Psychologist certification or license in Pennsylvania (or eligibility to obtain).
• Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify students strengths and needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and eligibility determination processes.
• Develop data-driven strategies and interventions for academic, behavioral, and emotional success.
• Provide direct counseling services, crisis intervention, and consultation for staff and families.
• Document evaluations, reports, and interventions in compliance with school/state policies.
• Support MTSS and positive behavior interventions implementation.
