Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a School Psychologist for the upcoming academic year. This full-time contract runs Aug 25 through Jun 18, serving an elementary caseload of 50-60 students.

You’ll work 37.5 hours per week in a collaborative school environment while helping students succeed academically and emotionally. The role includes psychoeducational assessments, IEP participation, collaboration with teachers and families, counseling, crisis support, and ensuring compliance with state guidelines.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in School Psychology
• Michigan certification/license as School Psychologist
• Experience with elementary students preferred
• Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation abilities
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of IEP processes, special education eligibility, MTSS/RTI

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
• Participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success
• Provide individual and group counseling as needed
• Deliver crisis intervention and behavioral support
• Consult on academic and behavioral interventions, developing tailored strategies
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure state guidelines compliance
