Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a School Psychologist to support students in elementary and middle school, with duties including evaluations, reports, and collaboration with IEP teams. This full-time contract runs across two sites with travel between them.

The role begins August 25, 2026 and continues through June 8, 2027, Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours weekly, offering an opportunity to impact student wellbeing across age groups.

Qualifications

• Valid Delaware School Psychologist license (required for consideration).
• Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field.
• Previous experience in K-12 school settings is highly preferred.
• Ability to assess, diagnose, and support students facing learning, behavioral, or emotional challenges.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with staff, students, and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological evaluations, reports, and recommendations to support students educational needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on individualized student plans (IEPs, 504s)
• Serve as a resource for teachers and staff regarding behavioral interventions and student support strategies
• Participate in parent meetings and communicate assessment findings with sensitivity and clarity
• Contribute to positive, safe, and inclusive learning environments at both elementary and middle school sites
