Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing seeks a School Psychologist for a contract spanning the upcoming school year, starting August 17, 2026, and running through year-end. Work with two elementary schools to support students’ academic and emotional well-being, with a preference for full-time coverage.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational teams to assess, plan interventions, and advocate for effective, inclusive learning environments.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ed.S. in School Psychology required.
• Valid Michigan School Psychologist certificate or Preliminary certificate.
• Experience conducting psychological and educational assessments.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer comprehensive psychological assessments to identify strengths and needs.
• Develop and implement effective intervention and support strategies.
• Consult with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support student progress.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide expert recommendations.
• Monitor student progress and adjust support plans as necessary.
• Advocate for the social, emotional, and academic success of students.
