Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing seeks an onsite School Psychologist to support elementary students near Ypsilanti, MI. The contract runs Aug 24, 2026 – Jun 4, 2027, with flexible full-time or part-time scheduling. You will collaborate with educators and families to foster a positive, inclusive school atmosphere.

The role requires MI licensure, a Masters in School Psychology, and strong communication skills. Prior school-based experience is preferred, with emphasis on culturally responsive practices.

Qualifications

• Valid, active Michigan School Psychologist license.
• Masters degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Previous experience working in schools is preferred.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and support for elementary students.
• Consult with teachers, parents, and support staff to design and implement effective interventions.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and development of IEPs.
• Support the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students through targeted counseling and behavior management strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with requirements.
