Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assess students' health and counsel on health issues.
• Maintain health records and evaluate school health programs.
• Coordinate health resources with families, schools and health providers.
• Develop individual health care plans and coordinate with providers.
• Provide emergency care for students and staff on school premises.
• Administer medications with parent/guardian and physician consent.
• Perform mandated screenings (vision, hearing, scoliosis, height/weight).
• Document information in student records per HIPAA and FERPA.
