• Identify need for nursing services in the school setting.
• Initiate and monitor care plans with student/family input.
• Implement plans in collaboration with school staff and providers.
• Administer prescribed medications with parent/guardian and physician consent.
• Provide health education in cooperation with SPS programs.
• Notify appropriate individuals of health concerns.
• Maintain certifications and stay current with health trends.
