Job summary

Catapult Learning seeks a licensed school counselor to support elementary students at our on-site Tamaqua campus. The role offers full-time hours across 35 hours per week with a sign-on bonus after 90 days.

You will provide individual and group counseling, collaborate with staff and families, and ensure program compliance. Join a national team delivering K-12 educational support with a focus on student growth, well-being, and inclusive environments.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling or related field.
• Experience working with elementary students.
• PA Elementary Certified School Counseling Certification

Responsibilities

• Provide individual counseling with students, consultation services with school staff and parents, classroom developmental guidance lessons.
• Positively impact students' educational, behavioral, social, and emotional well-being.
• Nurture student potential through personalized, small-group, and classroom counseling, focusing on academic, emotional, behavioral, or developmental needs.
• Empower parents and school staff by connecting them with community resources that align with students' unique needs.
• Ensure administrative excellence by completing accurate, efficient paperwork.
• Stay updated on field trends to enhance guidance and support for students.
• Foster trust and reliability by adhering to the Counseling Policy Manual, funding guidelines, and school procedures.

Overview

Location: On-Site | 3 campuses (Tamaqua, Pottsville & Minersville)

Salary: $1,500-$2,000 bi-weekly

Schedule: Full time 35 hours/week

Sign on bonus: $1000 after 90 days of employment

Play a critical role in supporting the behavioral, personal, emotional, and social development of students.
