Job summary

Muenster ISD in Muenster, Texas seeks an Elementary Principal (Anticipated) to direct and manage overall campus operations at Muenster Elementary Campus (Pre-K–6).

The role leads instructional programs to maintain high standards of instruction and student achievement, ensure compliance with district policies, and oversee day-to-day campus activities. This position is a 12-month contract (July 1st) with a negotiable salary and a $380 insurance stipend.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in educational administration.
• Texas principal or other appropriate Texas certificate.
• Certified Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) appraiser.
• Minimum of 5 years experience teaching.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in administrative leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage overall campus operations.
• Provide leadership for the campus instructional programs to ensure high standards of instruction and student achievement.
• Ensure compliance with district policies and effective day-to-day operation of all campus activities.
• Lead in budget and personnel management and school improvement initiatives.

Education

Master's degree in educational administration

Texas principal or other appropriate Texas certificate

Certified Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) appraiser

Minimum of 5 years experience teaching
